Why I love figure skating
What lit up my days in front of the telly was definitely Aliona Savchenko & Robin Szolkowy. It’s their third straight gold medal in the European championships. Indeed, they outclassed their competitors!

I don’t know if there’s too much to say about this year’s championships which was held in Gothenburg. And I’ve already been rambling enough about Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy and their well-deserved gold medal. Most of the results were more or less expected. No huge surprise. Except the men’s skating.

A short note on the figure skating
It’s time again: World Figure Skating Championships! This year it’s held in Gothenburg, Sweden. Don’t ask me why I’m not there. Niklas and I were talking about going but apparently I preferred the telly. I had a moment of true regret yesterday evening when it was time for the pairs final. As y’all probably know by now, I’m madly in love with Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy.

I la la la la love Lambiel
Read my lips: I love Stéphane Lambiel. Call it passion, obsession, whatever you want. There’s a lot of talanted figure skaters but there’s something about Stéphane that makes him stand out. At least in the eye of this beholder. Okay, he’s no Evgeni Plushenko but the thing is that he’s not trying to be.
