There is always more than one side to a story and “Touching from a distance” by Deborah Curtis is the perfect example. This is the story of Ian Curtis and Joy Division seen through the bitter and rejected wife of Ian. Unfortunately it revolves more (only) around Deborah’s constant feeling of rejection.

Scar tissue – the cutting issue
Self-injury is a behavior rather than a disease, but it behaves like a disease nonetheless. Cutting, carving, hurting and harming is the only way I know; I don’t know how else to deal with the troubles of life. I’m sure there are other ways but I haven’t found those yet.
