I had an awesome weekend and I’ve got a terrible headache to prove it. Nanna and Rade came by this Friday (all the way from Gävle and Eskilstuna). After dinner and general chilling we decided to spend Friday night watching No country for old men – for the third time in my case. Both Nanna and I fell asleep long before the film was over, though.
On Saturday people started dropping in for the party as soon as Rade and Niklas were done kicking each other’s asses in Burnout Revenge. We started out fairly innocent with punch and conversations around the living room table. But we aimed for mayhem, right? As more people dropped in, the apartment were soon filled up with people in every tiny corner of our apartment.
Christine and I were talking about life and how to cope with it. Ida still hadn’t seen Control and Kim weren’t too impressed by it. Nanna tried to feed everyone with ice cream. Michal were impressed by Voxtrot but didn’t know what to think about my squirrel theory (Ramesh looks like a squirrel, right?). Zak destroyed our balloons and ate the jelly beans when no one else did (he had a few bad ones).
A party isn’t a real party without Singstar and so naturally I involved everyone in Singstar. Most of us were happily singing along and the only thing missing was the fire light. Cosy, cosy.
When everyone else had gone home for the night, Niklas and Michal and I had a little Morrissey party for ourselves. We played Smiths and sang along with flowers in our back pockets. I even learned Michal the alternative Panic lyrics; Hang Rod Stewart.
If you’re looking for photos you’ll find them here.
Nanna went home early Sunday morning while Rade stayed for dinner. When he’d gone, Niklas and I crashed in the sofa and spent the evening watching A beautiful mind, more or less, I fell asleep again. Just as well. It’s already Monday and I’m supposed to study for my upcoming tests but it doesn’t seem all that fun. I much rather sit here and stare at the rain outside and dream away about Paris…

I blame the alcohol for anything & everything inappropriate I may have done, hopefully I didn’t but as you’re photos reminded me that I drank other booze than beer anything could have happened! The only question I’m asking myself now is why didn’t I go to bed when I got home instead of partying on with my neigbours until six? Hell I even fell asleep on the subway which is a clear sign that bed should be the next step! Anyway luckily enough I woke up only one stop too late & could still walk home, not straight but still what I would call walking!:D Anyway thanx for a very nice party, sorry bout the balloons:D

Somebody fails to remember a taxi, his shoes – that I actually tried to hide – and money exchanging hands! Drunkenness is the word, boy! Luckily for me, I stayed sober. Not.

Vodka and Ramlösa is the shit! It’s to blame for everything.

Of course I won’t be drinking that again – not until the next time!

Oh I’m never going to drink again………which made me think of a scene in Kingpin:D
ESPN Announcer: “So Roy, let me ask you, what have you been doing for all these years?”
Roy Munson: “Uh, well, the… the uh… After… after the hand… There… there,,, No, there was the 80’s. You know, for a while… (Roy clears his throat.) Drinking. A lot of drinking.”
ESPN Announcer: “Uh, are you still drinking?”
Roy Munson: “No, no, no. I… I don’t… That’s, that’s behind me now. I just… Why, you buying?”
